Every tool shed is different. We all have our own way of doing things and it’s the BEST way. Right?
The Chicago Cubs may not be making it to the playoffs this year, but that isn’t deterring this family. Their love goes deep and flows right into their transformed Cook shed they named, “Mandy’s Cub House”.
It’s your shed. Not your sister’s shed. Your neighbor’s shed. Or even your kid’s shed. (NOTE: It IS your spouse’s shed too though, don’t forget that. Not that they’ll let you). Moving on.
Your shed is for you and your home. So, ensure that it’s solving your purpose.
Of course you should buy a shed. That’s a given. Everyone needs room for their stuff and everyone wants a shed to protect their stuff in the long run. We know Cook is the right choice for this, but you can read more here if you’re still not convinced.
Now, the real question is should you buy with cash or should you rent to own your shed? There’s no right or wrong answer here. It really just depends on your budget and your needs. But, there are some things to consider as you make your decision.
One of the fun parts of decorating your home or even your shed, is adding a welcoming entrance. You can add a welcome mat, colorful plants, even paint your door a bright, inviting color. But, one simple way to greet your guests is by creating a welcome sign.
This sign doesn’t always have to say “welcome,” though. Get creative and let your personality show!
Canvas
If you’re from the south, then “Hey Y'all!” may be your favorite greeting. A fun idea is to trace your state onto a canvas or piece of scrap wood, then paint your favorite welcome phrase on top. In this example, they took the background color and made it a couple of shades darker to add an accent design, so the canvas didn’t look as flat.
We know you’ve been planning your ultimate workshop for awhile. You’ve got every corner filled with the right tools, the right workstations and the right projects. That’s great, but if you don’t have the right tool shed to match those projects, you may find yourself getting a little frustrated.
