Lifetime Warranty on Treated Components

Our portable sheds are built from high quality pressure treated materials. The entire floor system including notched floor skids, floor joists and 5/8” pressure-treated decking on every building, is made of 40 percent pressure treated lumber.

We use 40 percent pressure treated materials because it’s rated for direct ground contact. The quality of this lumber allows Cook to extend a lifetime warranty against fungal decay and termite damage.

So, if termites or fungal decay ever damages the pressure treated components of your shed, we will replace those components for free. We stand behind our products for the entire life of your building!

5-Year Bumper to Bumper Warranty

Any new or pre-owned shed you purchase from Cook comes with a 5-year labor and materials warranty. This includes any defects or issues with workmanship or materials for the first 5 years of ownership.

The only thing the warranty doesn’t cover is normal wear and tear and acts of God. So years into owning your shed, Cook will still be there to remedy any and all issues!

Other Warranties

All Cook buildings feature 19/32” shallow grove LP SmartSide siding. Because this product protects the sidewalls of our sheds so well from weather exposure and reduces the chance for delamination, the siding comes with a 50-years manufacturer’s warranty.

The shingles on every Cook roof system are grade “A” shingles and include a 30-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Another attractive option for your building is a metal roof, which is constructed from 29 gauge steel and comes with a 40-year manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty on the paint.

Along with these warranties, Cook provides every customer with a lowest price guarantee. This assurance says that if anyone finds the same size shed with all the features of the Cook building they purchased, we will reduce the price by 50 percent!
